On a very warm Thursday, 8th May, our ProvGM, R. W. Bro. Raymond Walton, together with the Deputy ProvGM, V. W. Bro. Richard Northey, the ProvGSec, W. Bro. John Park, along with W. Bro. George Tuck visited the Mark Province of West Lancashire for their Annual Provincial Meeting. This was held in the Spanish Hall in the well known Winter Gardens in Blackpool. A very warm welcome was given by their ProvGM, R. W. Bro. Keith Beardmore, along with the other members of the Province.
There then followed a very enjoyable meeting during which the usual Provincial Business took place including the investiture of the Provincial Grand Officers for the year.
We congratulate all those who were appointed and invested and hope they have a very enjoyable time in office.W. Bro. Keith was also pleased to welcome W. Bro. Darren Coleman-Heald, Charities Manager at Mark Masons Hall, to the meeting and invited him to address Provincial Grand Lodge. W. Bro. Darren then took the opportunity to give us a brief update on the continuing marvelous work of the Mark Benevolent Fund which was very well received by all the brethren present.
After the meeting had closed there then followed an excellent meal in which there was ample time to catch up with good friends.
Another wonderful day of Mark Masonry!

The Great North Air Ambulance receives Grant from MBF
The Travelling Sceptre has found its way to the very far north of the Province to Berwick-upon-Tweed and now resides in the care of St Cuthbert’s Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 192. It’s there to be won, but the Lodge only meets twice a year on the 1st Wednesday in May and October, and that’s the challenge.
The Travelling Gavel has left Whitley Bay and moved from the furthest east of the Province to the furthest west and is now in the possession of Hexham Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1141. Perhaps it can now make its way to the far north to compete the Northumberland triangle.
