Visit to Morpeth RAMs

Wednesday 11th January was a wonderful night for Morpeth Lodge RAM No 691.
On this occasion the Lodge was honoured by a Provincial Visit led by our Provincial Grand Master R W Bro Ray Walton. He was accompanied by both the DPGM W Bro Richard Northey and the APGM W Bro Paul Hilditch and there was also a tremendous turn out from the Provincial Team with over 20 Officers being present.

We were then treated to a splendid Elevation ceremony from the W C, W. Bro Dennis Beecroft, and his officers to admit the Lodge‘s latest member Bro. Derek Hails. Many congratulations go to Bro. Derek and we hope he has many happy and enjoyable years in Morpeth Lodge among friends.

Towards the end of the proceedings the R W PGM was delighted to present to the Lodge, on behalf of the Mark Benevolent Fund, a Grand Patron Gold Award for the many charitable donations made by the Lodge over the past years and he expressed grateful thanks to the Lodge on behalf of the Grand Master H. R. H. Prince Michael of Kent and the Trustees of the Mark Benevolent Fund.

The PGM then went on to present a Grand Lodge Certificate to Bro Bob Packer, the Lodge‘s recent member, and explained the meaning of the signs and words on the Certificate to him.

This marvellous evening was finally rounded off by an excellent meal in very enjoyable and convivial company.
