Saturday 21st June, and another very warm day for the second Annual Provincial Meeting of the week. This time, our ProvGM, R. W. Bro. Ray Walton, and Deputy ProvGM, V. W. Bro. Richard Northey, made the long trip to the Mark Province of North Wales.
The meeting was held at the impressive Rhydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay which could well double up for Hogwarts.
We and the rest of the Distinguished Guests received the traditional very friendly Welsh welcome from their ProvGM, R. W. Bro. John Evans, the Deputy ProvGM, W. Bro. Colin Lemin, and the rest of the members of the Province.
There then followed a very polished and enjoyable Meeting during which the usual Provincial business took place including the Officers of the year being appointed by the ProvGM. We congratulate all who were appointed and hope they have a happy and enjoyable year in office.
After the meeting had concluded there followed an excellent Festive Board with good food in good company with plenty of opportunity to catch up with old friends and also make some new ones.
Another wonderful day of Mark Magic!

The Travelling Sceptre has found its way to the very far north of the Province to Berwick-upon-Tweed and now resides in the care of St Cuthbert’s Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 192. It’s there to be won, but the Lodge only meets twice a year on the 1st Wednesday in May and October, and that’s the challenge.
The Travelling Gavel has left Whitley Bay and moved from the furthest east of the Province to the furthest west and is now in the possession of Hexham Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1141. Perhaps it can now make its way to the far north to compete the Northumberland triangle.
