On Wednesday 28^th June 2023 a contingent of Northumberland brethren, consisting of the PGM, DPGM, APGM, PPGM and ProvGDC, crossed the River Tyne to attend the Annual Provincial Meeting of the Mark Province of Durham. This took place at The Fed in Dunston, Gateshead, where a very warm welcome was given by their PGM, R. W. Bro. David Hanson, along with the other members of the Province.

There was then an excellent Provincial meeting with the usual business taking place, including the appointment and investiture of the Provincial Grand Officers of the year.

Congratulations to all those who were appointed and invested, and we hope they enjoy their new ranks and have a very happy and enjoyable year in office.

After the meeting had closed the afternoon continued with an excellent festive board in the company of good friends, during which the PGM of the Craft in Durham, RW Bro John Thompson, had the pleasing duty of presenting a cheque for £5,000 from Durham Benevolence to the Durham 2029 MBF Festival and he wished them well in their festival campaign,
