The Annual Provincial Meeting moves to Hexham

Saturday 24th September 2022 was a momentous day for the Mark Province of Northumberland with several significant changes.

For the first time since 2013 we moved the venue for our APM and this year it was held in the Tynedale Farmer Suite, Hexham Mart beside the Tyne Green at Hexham. This proved to be hugely successful. The meeting went without a hitch which was testimony to all the hard work put in by the team to ensure that all went well and the meal afterwards was first class, with excellent service from the staff at the venue.

Next after 7 years of tremendous service, W Bro Chris Allan decided to step down as our Provincial Grand Secretary. Many thanks go to W Bro Chris for all of his hard work for the Province and we hope he has a long and happy retirement.

Congratulations go to W Bro Bob Angus on taking over the role of Provincial Grand Secretary and we hope that he too has an enjoyable time in office.

Again, this time after 10 wonderful years as our Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, W Bro Les Francis stood down. Many thanks go to W Bro Les for all of his hard work in keeping the Province on the right track and we also hope he too has many happy years of retirement.

Congratulations go this time to W Bro Duncan McIsaac on taking the office of Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies and we hope he also has an enjoyable time in office.

Many congratulations go to all of those brethren who received appointments, re-appointments and promotions in Provincial Grand Lodge on the day, these were all very well deserved and we hope that they have a happy and enjoyable year in office.

Many thanks go to our Provincial Grand Secretary, W Bro Chris Allan and his team, along with our Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, W Bro Les Francis and his team for organising such a wonderful Masonic day on their last meeting in their official capacity.

Grateful thanks also must go to all of the staff at Hexham Auction Mark for all of their help and excellent service in making it such a successful day.

Well done to all concerned.
