Provincial Visit to Oriental Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1290 on Monday 2nd June 2025 led by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
The Northumberland Mark Benevolent Fund and General Purposes Committee Meetings followed by the Officers’ Dinner will take place on Thursday 3rd July 2025 at Freemasons’ Hall, Winton House, Dacre Street, Morpeth NE61 1HW. (Please note change of date.) Details have been circulated to Secretaries and Scribes and all Mark Master Masons are welcome to attend the meetings and dinner.
NMBF Summer BBQ 2025 will be held on Saturday 26th July at Shiremoor Masonic Hall. The selected charity is Clowns in the Sky and further details can be found under Breaking News.
The 2025 Mark Annual Provincial Meeting will be held on Saturday 27th September 2025 at Tynedale Farmer Function Suite, Hexham Mart, Tyne Green, Hexham NE46 3SG. Details and dining application forms will be circulated nearer the event.
2031 Festival 50/50 Dinner Dance on Saturday 8th November 2025 at the Holiday Inn, Seaton Burn. Further details and application forms will be circulated to all members mid-July.
Note that letters of welcome and lodge summons for Provincial Visits will be circulated by email 14 days before the meetings

The Great North Air Ambulance receives Grant from MBF
The Travelling Sceptre has found its way to the very far north of the Province to Berwick-upon-Tweed and now resides in the care of St Cuthbert’s Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 192. It’s there to be won, but the Lodge only meets twice a year on the 1st Wednesday in May and October, and that’s the challenge.
The Travelling Gavel has left Whitley Bay and moved from the furthest east of the Province to the furthest west and is now in the possession of Hexham Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1141. Perhaps it can now make its way to the far north to compete the Northumberland triangle.
